Evidence-Informed Resources for the People You Serve
Water the Roots™ uses evidence-informed strategies, psychological and developmental theory, nature, story, and metaphor to help make important concepts more accessible, memorable, discussable, and easier to put into practice.
Sometimes understanding grows when we find another way to see.
A Growing Resource Library
Resources will be organized around the needs professionals encounter—not around professional titles. As reviewed materials are completed, the library can grow across areas such as anxiety and worry, emotional regulation, grief and loss, relationships and repair, boundaries, individual differences, young adults, families, and resilience.
Why Nature, Story & Metaphor?
They can create distance from emotionally charged problems, offer language for difficult experiences, and help abstract ideas become more concrete and memorable.
Evidence-Informed
Water the Roots™ integrates and translates concepts informed by established psychological, developmental, relational, and learning research.
Professional Judgment Matters
These materials support understanding and reflection; they do not replace individualized assessment, professional judgment, or established evidence-based care.
Not a proprietary treatment model.
Water the Roots™ itself is not presented as an independently validated psychotherapy treatment model. Its purpose is to make useful psychological and relational knowledge more understandable and usable in everyday life.
