For Adults

Growth Doesn't End When Childhood Does

Water the Roots™ invites adults to become curious about what life's difficult experiences reveal beneath the surface and what may still need tending.

Growing older happens with time. Growing through what happens in life and to us asks something more.

We Are Still Growing

Growth isn't about becoming endlessly better, calmer, more productive, or less affected by life. It can mean developing greater capacity to understand ourselves, tolerate difficult emotions, recognize old patterns, communicate more clearly, hold boundaries, remain open to another person's experience, make changes when something isn't working, and repair what we can.

Sometimes growth means moving toward connection. Sometimes it means allowing another person to be different from us. Sometimes it means accepting what cannot be changed. And sometimes it means recognizing that maintaining a relationship is no longer healthy or possible.
